Week 1

Today we worked on gluing skills.  The kids did a great job listening to directions on the "Where Animals Live" worksheet and then had free time to glue with tissue paper and paint chips.

The kids also took turns role playing how to play nicely downstairs.  We talked about asking to take turns, playing nicely, and using kind words. They also learned its okay to say "No, I am still playing, you can have a turn next." or "Lets play with it together". I heard several of the kids implementing the phrases we talked about when it was playtime!

We also read The Berenstain Bears go Back to School, and Soaring Back to school.  

I will introduce stations and start figuring out everyone's starting level next week!
