Week 6

Tuesday

Today we talked about being loved! At circle time we talked about each child's talents and what made them all special.  We all took turns counting up to ten and down to from ten.  We blasted off like rockets!  We practiced making the letter C with our hand and also writing it on paper.  We used dot markers to color in a large letter c.  We also read books about being loved for who you are, and how to be kind to each other.  Hannah also shared with us her weekend with Jorge, she took great care of him!

Thursday

Today was imagination day.

We pretended to be pirates today! We made pirate bandanas and telescopes.  We went on a letter hunt around the room for upper and lowercase A, B, and C.  I also took each child aside during play time and worked on practicing their names.  We worked on identifying each letter, sound, and formation.  Keep practicing the alligator grip at home!  Then we had a treasure hunt! Lincoln found the treasure and we all had lolly pops.  It was a fun day full of pretend and letter learning!
